SESSION TIPS:

  • Clothing: Bright colors and patterns are fine, but try to stay away from dressing yourself or child(ren) in anything with words or pictures on them, as they will most likely have their arms and hands in front of them. Keep in mind that Santa will be wearing red and white. Pajamas are always adorable and highly recommended.
  • BE DRESSED AND READY TO GO ON ARRIVAL.
  • Sessions will be 5-10 minutes long, each--just enough to catch several really fun expressions and poses, and to let Santa give a few moments of special attention to each child.
  • Sessions are scheduled back to back--please arrive ON TIME and ready to go, in respect to others who may come after you. We will be doing our very best to not run behind!
  • When you arrive, check in with my assistant and follow directions on where to wait or go. Because we will all be outside and can't make the shooting area private, we ask that everyone be respectful, QUIET and to keep their distance from any on-going sessions while waiting for your turn.
  • Sessions will go on rain or shine, hot or cold!
  • Santa's sleigh is a VINTAGE, real sleigh.  Only ONE adult may sit in the sleigh at a time with children.
  • TODDLERS: It is VERY normal for toddlers to be scared of Santa. They may cry (which can usually make for some really funny photos to remember!). Some things that can help: Showing lots of pictures and videos of Santa in the weeks and days prior, talking about how fun and cool Santa is, acting excited (NOT stressed) about your session, giving your child a "gift" or letter to give to Santa (this helps them feel a little more in control) OR passing us a gift for Santa to give to your child. **We will do our best to get happy photos of your child, but children can really be unpredictable around Santa. In some cases, we will just have to get what we get, do crying photos, etc. There are NO refunds due to crying or shy children.**
  • Session images will be posted to an online gallery for you within a week of your session. Keep an eye out for an email that will have your gallery link and password. Additional purchases are entirely optional, but you will also have the option to order custom Christmas cards, professional prints, and specialty items.
